Players’ Code of Conduct

• Play by the rules and always demonstrate good sportsmanship.

• Show respect to coaches, teammates, referees, officials, and spectators.

• Avoid crude, foul, or abusive language and any behaviour that damages the game’s image.

• Listen to your coach’s instructions during training and games.

• Accept referee decisions without argument.

• Do not use banned substances or engage in activities that compromise your performance or that of the team.

Parents’ Code of Conduct

• Cheer and encourage all players, including the opposition, and applaud good play.

• Refrain from coaching or interfering during training sessions or games.

• Focus on effort and development rather than just winning.

• Support the elimination of verbal and physical abuse in sport.

• Respect coaches, officials, and administrators and encourage players to do the same.

• Do not abuse or criticise match officials.

Spectators’ Code of Conduct

• Respect match officials and their decisions.

• Avoid violence, harassment, and abusive language or gestures.

• Do not carry, light, or throw flares or other projectiles.

• Stay off the field of play and surrounding areas unless authorised.

• Represent Wagga City Wanderers FC positively at all times.

Coaches’ Code of Conduct

• Prioritise player development and enjoyment over winning.

• Treat all players equally and ensure a positive experience for them.

• Communicate effectively with players, providing clear reasoning for decisions.

• Maintain professionalism and respect towards players, parents, opponents, officials, and administrators.

• Follow safety standards and responsibly manage injuries.

• Keep coaching qualifications updated and adhere to best practices in player development.
